Spielstunde

The three houses of the integrative day care and after-school care center are located within 50 meters (55 yards) of the beautiful, child-friendly grounds in Neinstedt. Neinstedt is home to the Johannenschule, our special needs school, and out elementary school.

Our educational goals are:

• to create spaces for movement and development for children and their families,
• to develop understanding for the other through togetherness and on the basis of the Christian faith,
• in increase equal opportunities for all.

All groups work together. Children with and without disabilities, and from different religions and backgrounds, play, learn, and live together in community. For children with special education needs, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy is available based on medical referral. 

Other services of the Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt are also available, such as introductory swimming lessons, therapy horses, early music education, and environmental education work.

We work closely with various areas of the Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt. Partnerships also exist with other social service providers: regional and district-wide elementary and special needs schools in the entire district of Harz, as well as professional network partners. These include counseling centers, psychosocial services, the early intervention center, and the social, health, and youth welfare offices.

The Day Care and After-School Care center is fully accessible. There is direct access and parking.

We care for children within the framework of all laws and regulations, according to SGB XII or SGB VIII.
