My Entry as a Volunteer

Would you like to gain initial or further experience in a social or diaconal work area? Are you interested in the various fields oft he Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt, and are you looking for an intensive, practical orientation? Do you want to prepare for an apprenticeship or study in a social profession with a pre-study internship or a gap semester? Then this can be your place!

The Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt offers you a variety of opportunities for volunteer service:

  • Voluntary social year (FSJ)
  • Federal Volunteer Service (BFD)

Both voluntary services offer you compensation according to the respective legal requirements. It is also possible to use accomodation at the Lindenhof in Neinstedt upon request and availability. Non-native German speakers, please note that a minimum language level of A1 is required for voluntary service.

If you are under 27 years of age and are interested in an education in a social profession, such as

  • Early Childhood Educator
  • Special Needs Caregiver
  • Elderly care nurse

then we recommend you complete a Voluntary Social Year with our Foundation. You will have the opportunity to be a part of one of our teams.

Even if you decide during or after this service that you would like to choose another professional field, this experience will give you a strong impression of social work for your life.

We offer:

  • First professional experience in a social field of work,
  • Mentoring and accompaniment by specialized staff,
  • Exchange opportunities with other volunteers,
  • Knowledge expansion through participation in continuing education courses (legal seminars of voluntary service)
  • If necessary, accomodation can be provided
  • Participation in the offerings of the diaconal community of the Lindenhof.

Are you interested in a new orientation in your professional life, are over 27 years of age, and want to try working extensively in the social field?
Then we recommend Federal Volunteer Service in our Foundation.

We offer:

  • You work with the team in support of its work,
  • You are mentored and accompanied by the specialized staff in the work area,
  • You gain experience that can help you with your career orientation,
  • You receive advice for the reorientation of your professional life,
  • Gaining knowledge through participation in continuing education courses (legal seminars of voluntary service),
  • If necessary, accommodation can be provided,
  • Exchange opportunities with other volunteers,
  • Participation in the offerings of the diaconal community of the Lindenhof.
