Zwergenstübchen

The day care center Zwergenstübchen is located at a health-promoting altitude. On excursions to the area surrounding Friedrichsbrunn, we explore the flora and fauna, and teach children a positive attitude toward the environment. Along the way, stones, tree trunks and stumps, narrow paths, and much more become a natural movement landscape. In addition to exercise in the great outdoors, the children have access to a 1000 m2 (3,200 ft2) playground. Here they can move freely and try out a variety of climbing and gymnastic equipment.
The children also have a chance to exercise through special physical education opportunities. Movement materials are provided, based on the independent and holistic movement development according to Hengstenberg. These can be set up anywhere and easily altered.

We are currently conceptualizing the development of a „nature-loving movement preschool.“

The Children’s Day Care Center Zwergenstübchen is fully accessible; the After-School Care Center Zwergenstübchen is not fully accessible.

We care for children within the framework of all laws and regulations.
