The day care center in Westerhausen is located near the forest and animal enclosure. The spacious outdoor area oft he center has three levels, offering many exciting and creative opportunities to play in nature.

With our pedagogical approach, we attach great importance to children gaining experience in nature and experiencing the annual rhythm of the seasons through a variety of projects. Nature offers optimal conditions for child development.

There are numerous ways to let children’s natural urge to move freely grow. Running, jumping, climbing, and balancing are all possible here; we have room to be a child! When dealing with natural materials, there are no limits to the imagination and creativity of children. Simple objects, such as stones, branches, leaves, fruits of the forests, and others encourage play, work, and learning.
Child health development is greatly improved through fresh air, building natural defenses against infection.

Nearby the elementary school is the after-school care center. Care and education here is designed to meet the leisure needs of children, as well as their need for rest and regeneration.

Furthermore, especially during holidays, excursions in the surrounding area and project-related activities, such as woodworking or other creative projects are offered.

The Children’s Day Care Center is fully accessible, and the After-School Care Center is not fully accessible.
