„Geschwister Scholl“

The pedagogical concept of the After-School Care Center „Geschwister Scholl“ is based on the educational programming of the state of Saxony-Anhalt. Specifically, we work according to the situational and life-based approach.
We cooperate closely with the faculty and staff oft he elementary school „Geschwister Scholl.“ We’re located in a building adjoining the school, as well as two group rooms inside the school. A separate playground and well-designed schoolyard allow for all sorts of creative play.

Homework is done in the respective classrooms. In order to ensure a calm working atmosphere during homework time, parents cannot pick up children between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm. On Fridays, we have a free day. Children can decide what they want to do, such as creative activities, play groups, projects in the bakery, and much more.

The After-School Care Center is open on holidays from 6:00 am – 5:00 pm. We partner with numerous facilities in the city of Thale and other providers, and so provide varied holiday programming.

The After-School Care Center „Geschwister Scholl“ is not fully accessible.

We care for children within the framework of all laws and regulations.
