Psychiatric day clinic 1
Bridge between inpatient stay and further outpatient treatment
Our house
Day Clinic 1 forms the bridge between an inpatient stay in hospital and further outpatient treatment with a registered doctor, specialist or psychological psychotherapist or the psychiatric outpatient clinic (PIA).
With 12 places, we treat mentally ill patients from the regional catchment area.
Day clinic treatment makes sense if outpatient care is not sufficient and full inpatient therapy is not yet or no longer necessary. The decisive factors for admission are the patient's need for treatment, consent and sufficient motivation and ability to agree.
An important prerequisite is that the patient wants treatment and can reliably reach the day clinic every day, as well as being able to stay at home at night and at weekends without medical care. However, the day clinic is not the right form of treatment for every illness. If an addiction (alcohol, medication, drugs) is at the forefront, inpatient treatment and proof of abstinence are prerequisites for day clinic treatment.
The facility offers space for adults who are integrated into an individually tailored therapy program during this time without having to give up their familiar surroundings. The treatment directly addresses everyday problem situations. We support patients in restoring their ability to act and their quality of life. In addition to activating resources, we focus on expanding personal skills in order to achieve stability and flexibility in everyday situations .

The following mental illnesses in adults are treated in the day clinic, e.g.
