Day clinic 2 for people with cognitive impairments

Our day clinic offers 10 treatment places for people with mental disorders who also suffer from congenital or acquired mild cognitive impairments. Inviting therapy rooms and modern equipment give the clinic a particularly lively atmosphere and are important elements of the therapy on offer to improve quality of life.

Our qualified team

The team of doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, curative education nurses, occupational therapists, art therapists, music therapists and physiotherapists is there for the patients.

Our patients

Adults aged 18 and over with a mild cognitive impairment who also suffer from a mental disorder, such as

  • depression
  • Anxiety and panic disorders
  • compulsions
  • adjustment disorders
  • Somatoform disorders
  • Eating disorders
  • Personality disorders, e.g. borderline personality disorder
  • Social behavior disorders
  • ADHD
  • unprocessed grief

Our therapy services

We provide multimodal treatment on the basis of a structured daily routine:

  • Initial medical and psychological consultation and assessment as part of psychiatric clarification and treatment
  • Psychological test examinations
  • Behavioral therapy-oriented individual and group therapy
  • Mindfulness training, relaxation techniques
  • Art, music and sound therapy
  • Occupational and movement therapy, for example in the in-house swimming pool
  • Gardening projects, promotion of activities of daily living
  • Brain performance training with the Fresh Minder program

We attach great importance to group skills. Our patients should be able to communicate verbally and reflect on themselves.

Initial consultation information

Please bring along:

  • Medication to be taken
  • previous psychodiagnostic findings/medical reports

Information on the partial inpatient stay

On the day of admission, please report to the specialist hospital at 07:30 in the patient admission department.

The legal guardian must accompany the patient (if they have been given responsibility for health care).

  • Referral bill from the specialist
  • chip card
  • Swimsuit
  • sports equipment
  • Change of clothes
  • Slippers

Please only bring breakfast with you on the day of admission.
The day clinic hours are from 7:45 am to 3:30 pm. You will receive breakfast, lunch and coffee during this time.

There is no co-payment fee for the first 10 days of day clinic treatment. An application for reimbursement of travel costs can be submitted to the respective health insurance company. The duration of treatment can be up to 12 weeks.

For patients with statutory health insurance, the framework agreement on discharge management in accordance with Section 39 (1a) sentence 9 SGB V will come into force on October 1, 2017.
