Outpatient physiotherapy at the Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt offers individual and holistic treatment, which also includes advice and guidance.

We treat infants , toddlers and children with developmental abnormalities, movement disorders and disabilities. Our patients also include adolescents with special needs and adults. A significant part of our therapy services is aimed at people with disabilities.

Our team consists of specially trained and certified therapists who specialize in the treatments we offer. Our therapy rooms meet these special requirements.

Our practice is approved for all health insurance companies and also offers private services.

Baby swimming

Baby swimming (certified according to § 20 SGB V)

Thursday 9:30 - 10:15 and 10:45 - 11:30

Course duration: 10 course units of 45 min each

The course includes the teaching of various grip techniques and fun in the water. In addition, working against the water resistance strengthens the core muscles and trains coordination and balance. Last but not least, the immune system is strengthened and the children have contact with their peers. Children should be at least eight weeks old to take part in the course.

A lifeguard is present during the course.
The exercise pool has a water depth of 0.80 - 1.35 m and a water temperature of 31 - 32°C.
Children need a swim diaper and are undressed and dressed in the pool.
Entering the swimming pool with street shoes is not permitted.
The swimming pool has lockers where you can store your valuables. You will need a coin worth €1 or €2.

The course is certified in accordance with § 20 SGB V and is subsidized by many health insurance companies. Please check with your health insurance provider before booking to find out how the costs are reimbursed.

Aquafitness and water gymnastics are suitable for anyone who enjoys exercise in the water. The focus is on mobilization, strengthening, cardiovascular training, stretching and relaxation, tailored to older participants.

In this water gymnastics course, you will learn several effective techniques and exercises that not only improve your stamina and coordination but also activate your core, arm and leg muscles. The strengthening of physical health resources (especially endurance and strength) and the reduction of physical inactivity through sporting activity complete the course and make it an all-round enjoyable exercise experience in a group.

Seahorse

Seahorse swimming course

Course times: Tuesday and Wednesday, 17:00 - 17:45 (except during the vacations in Saxony-Anhalt)
Course duration: 15 course units of 45 minutes each

Course location: Lukashaus swimming pool, Neinstedt
Minimum age at the start of the course: 5 years (registration possible in advance)

This course is for learning the basics of breaststroke.

An important prerequisite is that your child is not afraid of the element of water. Confidence in swimming and enjoyment of the water will then usually come naturally. The aim of the course (but not a must) is to achieve the seahorse badge. The seahorse test involves swimming 25 meters without aids, retrieving an object from shoulder-deep water and jumping from the edge of the pool.

The course requires simple swimwear, flip-flops and a towel. Parents should help their children with dressing and undressing and showering if necessary. Please also bring your own flip-flops.
