MZEB - Medical Center for Adults with Disabilities

Our outpatient MZEB rounds off our facility's holistic range of care for people with an intellectual disability or severe multiple disabilities. With its services, it offers treatment tailored precisely to the patient.

Our focus is on diagnostics and counseling for psychiatric/mental illnesses and issues. To this end, various professional groups work together to make a diagnosis and draw up a personal treatment plan. Precise treatment recommendations can then be made to the GPs and specialists.

Our patients' caregivers are involved in the course of treatment so that we can take all necessary perspectives into account.

Our spatial, personnel and time conditions enable us to meet the individual needs of people with disabilities during a visit to the doctor.

Fault spectrum

Patients with a combination of the following characteristics can be treated in our MZEB:

18 years of age or older
a severely disabled person's pass with a degree of disability (GdB) of at least 50
mental disability or severe multiple disabilities in combination with a psychiatric diagnosis or suspected psychiatric illness
Referral from a general practitioner or specialist

Services

Clarification of existing illnesses and behavioral problems
Diagnostics in the fields of psychiatry, internal medicine, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy
Creation of an individual treatment plan
Advice on suitable therapeutic measures, initiation and support of the therapeutic process
Advice on and referral to remedies and aids (e.g. occupational therapy, physiotherapy)
Arranging further diagnostic measures (e.g. referrals)
Help with social law issues
Advice for GPs and specialists on specific psychiatric issues

Information on

We want to make your visit to our medical center suitable for you. To do this, we need some information from you before the initial consultation. We therefore ask you to send us the following documents:

Completed questionnaire
Current medication plan
Documents such as doctor's letters, findings, psychological reports or expert opinions
Copy of your disabled person's ID card (front and back)
Signed declaration of consent to the processing of personal data
Signed release from confidentiality
Signed declaration of consent - photographs
Copy of the guardian's identity card (if available)
