Villa Nathusius

Villa Nathusius is home to 12 young men and women, aged between 18 and 33, with a slight intellectual disability and a need for help in the social-emotional area of life.
The aim is to integrate them into the social community and enable them to participate in working life.

Depending on their individual needs, residents can choose between the following day structure offers:

• Day support from the support center
• Workshop
• Vocational training area
• School

The day structure offers orientation and a variety of opportunities for work, employment and self-realization.

The focus here is on attachment-oriented, educational work.
The aim is to enable all residents to lead a self-determined life. In particular, the focus is on providing support in establishing and maintaining social contacts and building up a social environment. In addition, there is a particular focus on practical life support. Establishing a regular daily routine with set meals, managing their own finances and organizing appointments with authorities and doctors are among the areas in which residents receive individual support.

Villa Nathusius is an old villa and is located within the village of Neinstedt.
The two towns of Thale and Quedlinburg are in the immediate vicinity and are easily accessible by bus or train. Both towns offer a wide range of cultural and leisure activities.

The traditional village of Neinstedt offers a good club structure and a simple supply infrastructure. The village has a small supermarket, an organic farm store with a bakery and café, a bank, a post office and a small restaurant, as well as a medical center and a pharmacy. The train connection takes you to Thale or the world heritage town of Quedlinburg in 5 minutes.
