Haus Suderöder Straße is an old villa with a large garden. Nine people with intellectual disabilities live here. There are only single rooms. The residents leave the house during the day and pursue an occupation within the framework of the WfbM, its associated employment offers and day support. For this reason, staff are available to assist residents on weekdays from 06:00 to 09:00 and from 14:30 to 20:00 or 21:30. All day on weekends and public holidays. From 22.00 to 06.00 hours, a night watch looks after the residents twice every night.
The residents of Suderöder Straße form a house community. Within this framework, each resident takes on tasks and carries them out with individual guidance and support from staff.

Special features
People between the ages of 25 and 55 currently live in Haus Suderöder Straße. The aim of the residents is to structure and consolidate their lives and to orient themselves for the future. Together with the staff, an individual life perspective, i.e. the further form of living and employment, is to be initiated.
The residents cultivate a variety of individual hobbies, e.g. rabbit breeding, table tennis, swimming, computers, etc. The staff offer support and help with this. The residents go on excursions, parties and vacation trips together. In some cases, there are sponsorships and friendships between individual residents.

Haus Suderöder Straße is located in a quiet residential area in Neinstedt.
The traditional village of Neinstedt offers a good club structure and a simple supply infrastructure. The village has a small supermarket, an organic farm store with a bakery and café, a bank, a post office and a small restaurant, as well as a medical center and a pharmacy. The train connection takes you to Thale or the world heritage town of Quedlinburg in 5 minutes.
