House Bahnhofstraße

Haus Bahnhofstraße is suitable for 13 adults with intellectual disabilities. In preparation for independence, a self-determined, individual life is practiced in two double and 9 single rooms.
The bright and in some cases very spacious rooms have an integrated bathroom with shower. You are welcome to bring your own furniture. Basic equipment is provided.

A common room for eating meals and organizing group activities enables the experience of community. The spacious terrace with access to the park-like garden extends the living space for the residents of the home into the outdoor area.

Depending on their individual needs, residents can choose from the following daytime activities:

• Workshop
• Vocational training area

The day structure offers orientation and a variety of opportunities for work, occupation and self-realization.

The Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt offers a wide range of leisure activities. Creative, artistic, educational and sporting activities are available in Quedlinburg and Neinstedt. The choice is made according to the residents' preferences.
Participation in life in the community of the town of Quedlinburg is promoted by the activities on offer. The open cooperation of the town should be particularly emphasized. Friendly encounters, helpful partnerships and numerous contacts with residents and guests of the town contribute to the experience of inclusion.
Christian togetherness is practiced in the residential groups. The highlights of the church year are celebrated together. Church services can be attended. The focus is on the individual needs of each resident.

Haus Bahnhofstraße is located at the entrance to the medieval town of Quedlinburg. The center of the world heritage town with its numerous cultural and other attractions is only a few minutes' walk from the house.

The central location of the house means that it is very well connected to the public transport network. Both the train station and bus stops are just a two-minute walk away.
