Elizabethan Foundation

The Elisabethstift provides residential care for people with severe mental and multiple disabilities. The new building, constructed in 2003, provides a home for 61 residents. The house is divided into five shared flats, each with 12 residents. Each residential community is individually designed and has three double rooms and six single rooms. Each room unit has its own bathroom. In addition, each residential group has a nursing bath for heavy care.

A garden with old fruit trees surrounds the Elisabethstift and invites residents to linger.

The day structure offers orientation and a variety of opportunities for work, occupation and self-realization.

The Elisabethstift is currently home to residents aged between 20 and 87, some of whom require a great deal of assistance. The Elisabethstift offers a good opportunity to participate in society, especially for people with a high need for assistance.

The Elisabethstift is located in the immediate vicinity of Neinstedt train station.

The traditional village of Neinstedt offers a good association structure and a simple supply infrastructure. The village has a small supermarket, an organic farm store with a bakery and café, a bank, a post office and a small restaurant, as well as a medical center and a pharmacy. The train connection takes you to Thale or the world heritage town of Quedlinburg in 5 minutes.
