Bodelschwinghhaus

Bodelschwinghhaus WG 3/4 provides a home for 24 young adults with predominantly mental disabilities in two residential groups on the third floor and in the attic. Short-term care places are available. In addition to the personal areas in the form of single and double rooms, the residential facilities consist of a shared living room, two kitchens, six bathrooms and two large roof terraces. Everyday and communal life is concentrated in these areas. The focus here is on cooking and eating meals together, for example. Depending on individual abilities, there are opportunities to participate in household chores and leisure activities. A large sports and disco room is available to residents in the home. The adjoining outdoor area offers a beautiful, fenced-in garden for sports activities or communal barbecues. Various leisure activities such as group trips, visits to the cinema and swimming pool, horse riding, hikes or bike tours round off the residential program.

Depending on their individual needs, residents can choose from the following day structure offers:

• Vocational training center

The day structure offers orientation and a variety of opportunities for work, occupation and self-realization.

The concept focuses on orientation and training living. The residents living here are individually prepared for further forms of living and care and attend either the vocational training area of the WfbM, the work area of the WfbM, the support center of the Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt or, if they have not yet completed compulsory schooling, school.

The Bodelschwinghhaus is located in the immediate vicinity of the Lindenhofskirche church in Neinstedt. The traditional village of Neinstedt offers a good association structure and a simple supply infrastructure. The village has a small supermarket, an organic farm store with a bakery and café, a bank, a post office and a small restaurant, as well as a medical center and a pharmacy. The train connection takes you to Thale or the world heritage town of Quedlinburg in 5 minutes.
