The Quedlinburg day support center is located at two sites in Lange Gasse 23 and Carl-Ritter-Straße 16 in Quedlinburg. A total of 36 people with disabilities can visit the support center and take part in the numerous activities on offer. The day support visitors live in the residential facility in Langen Gasse in Quedlinburg.

Thanks to the cross-group day support provided by the Langen Gasse team, visitors have the opportunity to get and stay in contact with residents from other residential groups. The day support services are designed and organized on the basis of the individual needs of each visitor. Due to the holistic approach, day support is involved in the evaluation of individual support needs, develops individual support goals together with the living area and the visitors and implements the agreed support measures. The individual need for help is just as important as the visitor's preferences for the composition of the individual day support groups. Within the groups, visitors can follow the planned activities after a detailed welcome circle and proactively help to shape them.

Offers

Visitors to the Quedlinburg day support center can experience new stimuli individually and in groups, try out a variety of activities and strengthen familiar skills and experiences. Working with a wide variety of materials enables the residents to discover new creative possibilities. The personality of the visitors is strengthened by the experience-oriented activities.

Whether it's walks in the city, excursions into the surrounding area with visits to concerts, animal parks or theater performances;
whether it is helping to organize festivals and holidays throughout the year;
whether it is playing games together, some of which they have made themselves;
whether it is working with a wide variety of materials and tools to create and transform everyday objects,
whether it is the musical activities with singing together, accompanying with instruments or the drum circle,
whether it is the creative use of paper or painting;
whether it is reading or reading aloud,
whether it is storytelling, listening or simply relaxing,

these and many other activities are offered at the Quedlinburg Day Care Center.

Locations

The Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt day care center in Quedlinburg has two locations. The first location is on the grounds of the Lange Gasse residential building in an extension to the main building. The second location is at Carl-Ritter-Straße 16 in Quedlinburg in the community center on the first floor. The two locations are about a 15-minute walk from each other.
