Rainbow Land daycare center

The Regenbogenland daycare center is located at the foot of the vineyard and borders on Thale's oldest town center. The building has been designed with plenty of space and rooms for children. The outdoor area was designed separately for the crèche and the kindergarten.

We work according to the "Bildung elementar" education program and integrate all areas of education into our daily work. A special and very important component for us is the holistic development of the children in combination with daily activation and the promotion of movement. The children are given the opportunity to gain experience with their bodies and senses through targeted movement activities. Depending on their temperament, desire and inclination, the children can discover their ability to move and acquire new motor skills without being judged or pressured to perform.

The daycare center has a sports, therapy and movement room. Awakening the joy of movement together is important to us.
These activities take place regularly:

• A wide range of exercise activities are an integral part of the daily routine: children's yoga, foot gymnastics, balance and relaxation exercises, movement games,
• Sports day for the individual groups once a week,
• Wednesdays are always our Jolinchen day (AOK health program)
• Parent-child exercise day once a year,
• Spring walk or fall hike together with the parents,
• Projects to promote physical activity with external partners.

We also see it as our task to create a living and educational space for the children in which they can gain experience independently and in the social community beyond the family setting. Our educational activities are based on the children's current life situation and are selected according to the situation.
