Kita EinStein

The "EinStein" daycare center is located in the Weddendorf district and is surrounded by nature. We work according to the concept of partially open work, participatory, needs- and situation-oriented. Our aim is to help children from different social and cultural backgrounds to understand the world in which they live and to shape it competently and responsibly.

Our educational goal is for the children to become independent , learn social responsibility and develop and expand their skills . To this end, we address everyday situations and topics that have the potential to prepare children for life in an exemplary manner. We support the children's motivation to learn and they have a large say in what they do.

The focus of our educational work is on nature and the world in which the children live. Our rural surroundings and the large natural outdoor area offer the children the best opportunities to gain experience with nature. The children should get to know and appreciate nature as a habitat for animals, plants and people. A sense of responsibility and an interest in nature are awakened during excursions along the meadows and fields, as well as in our outdoor area.

Nature is experienced in different weather conditions or in the changing seasons. The children's knowledge of plants and animals is deepened in various projects and the appreciation of resources (water, paper, pens, electricity) is taught in everyday life. All children are interested in researching and exploring, they try things out and ask questions. In our children's laboratory , they have the opportunity to carry out small experiments under supervision. In our children's workshop , they can try out different materials and tools.

The children are cared for in a group with permanent caregivers. On two whirlwind days (Wednesday, Thursday), the children can decide for themselves which educational activities they would like to take part in.
