Nursery playtime

The three houses of the integrative daycare center with after-school care are located within a radius of 50 meters on our inviting and child-friendly grounds in Neinstedt. The Johannenschule special school and Neinstedt elementary school are also located here. The ensemble of buildings is closely interlinked both in terms of personnel and structure.

Our educational goals:

• To create spaces for movement and development for children and their families,
• to develop understanding for others by working together and on the basis of the Christian faith
• to increase equal opportunities for all together.

All groups are inclusive, i.e. children with and without disabilities, of different religions and backgrounds play, learn and live together, are accompanied and supported. Children with special needs can take advantage of outpatient therapy services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy on the basis of a doctor's prescription.

We benefit from the networking of our provider's services and so we offer water familiarization, remedial riding, early musical education and nature education work for our children on a regular basis.

We work closely with various areas of the Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt, e.g. the day care center, the WfbM (workshop for disabled people) and the Buntes Haus (residential area for children and young people according to SGB XII). There is also cooperation with many other stakeholders in the social area: regional and supra-regional primary and special schools throughout the Harz district as well as professional network partners. These include counseling centers, psychosocial services, the early intervention center, the social, health and youth welfare offices.
