Concept and offers

"I like you just the way you are. I trust in your abilities. If you need me, I'll be there. Try it yourself first." Maria Montessori

We are moved by what moves children.

Children learn through play and movement. Movement is the motor of children's development and we use this potential in our daily educational work.

Love for the child, seeing something special and unique in every child, valuing each child in its essence and striving to be a good friend and companion to the children is a matter of course for our team.

Children need love, a social environment, attention, trust, encouragement, praise, recognition and protection. Our aim is to give this to the children.

Our work is based on an open and democratic style. In our child-parent center, the association, parents and educators work together for the benefit of the children. Our educational work is very transparent.

There are various functional rooms on the individual floors of the building, each of which is used by one age group. In our villa with playground, there are many opportunities to experience the day and to develop optimally, to try out the urge to explore, to build and to climb. There are a variety of learning, research, adventure and retreat rooms, such as the wood workshop, the children's kitchen, the pottery workshop, the experimental workshop, the construction room, the doll's room and the conservatory.

Rules and norms are an essential pedagogical method.

The children entrusted to us are accompanied by 20 state-approved educators. Many of them have additional qualifications such as religious educators, Montessori educators, social educators or experiential educators. This gives us a high level of expertise in the development of our children. We are a reference kindergarten for the Hengstenberg pedagogy and have received an award for early musical education. The Kinderhaus is located right next to the Brühlpark, which we make active use of for our excursions and exploratory tours.

More info

The Christliches Kinderhaus and the second location in Neuer Weg are not barrier-free.

We are a bilingual kindergarten

The children are familiarized with the English language all day by two English teachers. They accompany the children in all activities and speak English with them in all situations. In this way, our children not only learn vocabulary and idioms, but also a second language through imitation and spontaneity.

The Christian image of man in our house

Parents and children of different world views and faith communities come to our children's home. It is important to us that we get to know and accept each other. Our guiding principle is the Christian view of humanity. The children can experience this: You are loved by God and valuable just as you are. We do this by telling biblical stories, singing songs or by celebrating the Christian year with all its festivals. In this way, we want to encourage the children to get to know the Christian faith.

Full board

We offer our children a healthy, varied full meal. Our cook prepares fresh food every day. He cooks with the children's wishes in mind. He prepares the meals without flavor enhancers and preservatives. Fruit and vegetables in various forms are served with every meal. Once a week, there is a cooking and baking course for interested children.
