Concept and offers

"Together we are strong."

The educational concept of the Auf den Höhen after-school care center is based on the legal basis of the state of Saxony-Anhalt and the educational program anchored therein. Specifically, we work according to the situation-oriented and life-based approach.

The after-school care center is located on the premises of the Auf den Höhen elementary school. We cooperate closely with the elementary school. The group rooms in our after-school care center are furnished in a child-friendly and age-appropriate manner, and the outdoor area is spacious.

Homework is completed in the respective classrooms. To ensure a quiet working atmosphere during homework time, it is not possible for parents to collect the children between 14:00 and 15:00. On Fridays we have an open offer. Here the children can decide which activities they would like to take part in: Creative activities, playgroups, projects in the bakery and much more.

The after-school care center is open between 6:00 and 17:00 during the vacations. We are networked with numerous facilities in the town of Thale as well as independent providers and can therefore offer a very varied vacation program.

The Auf den Höhen elementary school after-school care center is not barrier-free.

We look after children within the framework of the Child Support Act, also taking into account the right of choice and children with a need for support in accordance with SGB IX or SGB VIII.
