Information about a joint reporting office for cases of sexualized violence
Giving people protection and helping them to assert their rights is part of our mission of charity. In addition, there are legal obligations and self-imposed, binding regulations in which we as an organization implement individual protection rights for people.
If there is reasonable suspicion of sexualized violence in places, events or facilities of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany (EKM), the Diakonie Mitteldeutschland and the Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt, the reporting office must be informed. The "Kind im Zentrum" counseling center in Wittenberg was contractually commissioned by the EKM, the Evangelical Church of Anhalt, the Diakonie Mitteldeutschland and the Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt as a joint reporting office.
Who can report something?
Any person who has a reasonable suspicion of sexualized violence in the area of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany, the Evangelical Church of Anhalt, the Diakonie Mitteldeutschland and the Evangelische Stiftung Neinstedt.
Every person also has the opportunity to seek advice from the reporting office regarding the assessment of an incident.
